Train evangelist, Roy Stamper, rehabilitated drug addict, gangster and prisoner, was miraculously changed by the abundant love of Jesus a few years ago. It is a privilege to know him and to see how he ministers to people on our trains in the Cape Town Metropole. He is an inspiration and a beacon of hope in Christ. As a result of God’s grace, he also visits schools as a guest speaker. Here he endeavours to guide our youngsters to make healthy life choices. He recently visited Masiyile High School in Eyethu, Khayelitsha where he shared his inspiring life story with four different classes for 30 minutes each. It had a huge impact and many of them decided to change their lives.
Roy encouraged them to complete their Grade 12 and to avoid anything distracting their focus in building a bright future for themselves. He shared with them Proverbs 31:1 – 6 and Psalm 127:1 – 5.
Roy also recently handed out food to 240 people (most of which were school children) in Masiphumelele, a township in Noordhoek.
May God bless your open hart, Roy!
